Participants of the NOA project Kick-off meeting.
The research of the Nano & Quantum Optics group is based mainly on third party research funding, which we attract continuously from different public funding sources and industry. Besides quite a large number of small scale project which usually run for 3 years, the strategic development of our research program is supported by a few large scale funding schemes having a longer funding horizon.
This strategic support of our research includes:
- Max Planck School of PhotonicsExternal link, funded by the Max Planck Society (MPG), the Fraunhofer Society (FHG), and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)
- Collaborative Research Center on "Nonlinear Optics down to Atomic scales" (SFB 1375 NOA), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG)
- Research group "QuantIm4Life - Quantum Imaging for Life Sciences,External link" funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)
- Priority program "Tailored Disorder"External link (SPP 1839), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG)
- Clusters of Excellence (ExStra) "Balance of the Microverse"External link (EXC 2051), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG)
- Thuringian Innovation Center for Quantum Optics and Sensors, funded by the Thuringian State Government (TMWWDG)
- Quantum Hub Thuringia, funded by the Thuringian State Government (TMWWDG)
- International Research Training Group "Tailored metasurfaces – generating, programming and detecting light – META-ACTIVE" (IRTG 2675), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG)
- Carl Zeiss Foundation Center for Quantum Photonics – QPhotonExternal link, funded by the Carl Zeiss Foundation
