Demonstration of Quantum Advantage in Phase Sensing using a real Quantum Computer with up to 4 Entangled Qubits
Picture: Falk EilenbergerWith the semester coming to a happy conclusion, I shall like to thank everybody involved, in particular the team of our prototype Experimental Quantum Tech lab course. The course, with 3 hand-on experiments on QuantumComputers and 6 on QuantumOptics was both exhausting and instructive. Read also Fraunhofer IOF's press statementExternal link.
The course was a collaboration of Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Fraunhofer IOF, Leibniz-Institut für Photonische Technologien, and the Max Planck School of Photonics. Access to IBM Quantums #QSystemOne via the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and their Quantum Now Initiative.
Particular thanks to Frank Setzpfandt, Rudrakant Sollapur, and Anand Kumar and last-but-not-least to all the students for their curiosity and patience.
