  •  (Lorentzian) Path integral approaches to quantum gravity, in particular Spin Foam Quantum Gravity and Regge calculus (discrete gravity)
  • Development of numerical algorithms to calculate these (discrete) path integrals, e.g. calculation of fundamental spin foam amplitudes with tensor network or Monte Carlo methods.
  • Investigation of the semi-classical and continuum limits of these path integrals Definition and calculation of observables in quantum gravity as well as matter coupling in discrete (quantum) gravity approaches
