Prof. Dr. Martin Ammon

Main research areas

  • Dualities between quantum field theories and gravitational theories.

  • Investigation of strongly coupled quantum field theories with chiral anomalies, in particular their phase diagram, transport coefficients and the dynamics far from equilibrium.

  • High precision construction of black holes and black strings in higher dimensional asymp-
deadly shallow Kaluza-Klein theories, calculation of the phase diagram and the critical geotechnical between black holes and black strings.

  • (Quantum) gravitational aspects of string theory and higher spin gravitation. Construction of Black holes in higher sping gravity; expansion of duality to asymptotically flat Space Times.
